From The Streets Of San Francisco

I love San Francisco ! I get my California city fix, a least once if not twice a year. It’s usually a two day culinary whirl wind strategically planned around the Saturday Market at the Ferry Building. It is here that food comes alive for me. The smells, the sites, the people and the flavors. And then there are the restaurants !  Where do I begin ?

This June I was itchy to get back to the city and visit my girlfriend Dori (who resides in a charming neighborhood near the Golden Gate Park). She was excited to have us and show us around “her city”. We were thrilled to comply because we knew that seeing the city with Dori, would be seeing it in a whole new way.

Let’s start from the beginning…

I ARRIVED AT TERMINAL TWO, HOME TO AMERICAN AIRLINES AND VIRGIN AMERICA.

THIS IS NAPA FARMS MARKET (IN THE AIRPORT)

IT’S ”A CROSS BETWEEN THE FERRY BUILDING AND  OAKVILLE GROCERY“. YOU CAN FEAST ON COWGIRL CREAMERY CHEESES, GRAB A LOAF OF BREAD FROM THE ACME BREAD COMPANY AND WASH IT ALL DOWN WITH A GLASS OF WINE FROM THE WINE BAR. AND IF THAT’S NOT ENOUGH, IN THE BACK IS THE EXPRESS VERSION OF TYLER FLORENCES ROTISSERIE.

IS THAT THE BOMB OR WHAT ?

For the next 48hours, we walked, talked, ate, explored, discovered, ate, watched, drank and ate some more..
